Helios
SingleStore’s managed cloud. Where customers actually live day to day.

SingleStore Helios is the fully managed service for SingleStoreDB. Customers provision workspaces, load data, run queries, and get on with their day without running the database themselves.
What I work on
I build product surfaces on Helios — the UI and workflows people touch every day, not the database engine itself. The bar is simple: fast, clear, hard to misuse.
A few concrete threads:
Data loading in the UI
Getting data into a managed database used to mean scripts, CLI glue, and hope. We shipped a guided loading experience so customers can bring files and pipelines in without leaving the product.
Command+K, more than 5× faster
Navigation and search are how power users stay in flow. We reworked Command+K so it keeps up when the product surface is large — measured at more than 5× faster for the paths that matter.
SQrL code generator
Not everyone wants to hand-write SQL on day one. SQrL helps turn intent into queries you can inspect and trust, then refine.
What I own vs the team
This is team product work. I contribute as a software engineer on the Helios / cloud product surfaces — shipping UI, performance, and developer-experience pieces with designers, PMs, and other engineers. The public write-ups above are from the SingleStore blog and capture the outcomes we shipped together.
Why it matters
A managed database only works if the cloud product is good. Helios is the path from “I have data” to “I can use SingleStore.” When you treat people as customers, the product has to earn their time every session — not just on signup day.
